Sonic Tools for Transformation

Kim's music is a morph between technology and landscape, a mixture of song and picture appearing on the screen of the mind.   The use of etheric, textural, sound reflections allows the listener to feel the music music as well as hear it.   Because the pieces are ambient the music is not obtrusive and can be focussed on specifically or allowed to become part of the environment.  This makes the music an ideal application for spas, healing centers or meditative homes

The Alchemy of Sound Series-Sonic Tools for Transformation has been set up to house a collection of music which has been written to be "alchemical" in nature.

According to the Oxford University Dictionary: Al-che-my/ Noun/ "The Medieval forerunner of
chemistry based on the supposed transformation of matter.  It was concerned particularly with attempts to convert base metals into gold or to find a universal elixer."

Though it seems that every aspect of life experience has the potential to transform the observer/ experiencer by the melding of the observer with the observed,  our goal here is to create sound portraits that contain specific sonic tools which can elevate or transmute the partaker into expanded realms of the imaginative and experiential consciousness.  The key to crafting conscious alchemical music is to make it palatable and enjoyable and not merely "heady" and intellectual.
