For me, Reiki has been more of a shift in consciousness than just the learning of a healing technique.

I've heard it said that Reiki is a Qi Gong practice..of course someone had to make up all the words and terms which we now believe because "someone before us said them."  well that's the way it is here on  earth (for now) so why buck the current unless you feel like being adventurous but back to the subject...

Reiki is energy and energy is movement..never still...even in the quietest of moments.

The books here have been very helpful to me. Of the books listed, if I was to have to choose just one book it would be "The Spirit of Reiki" by Lubeck, Petter and Rand...
